The Matrix Golf Ozik HD4 golf shaft is truly a superb feat of construction. It's weight around 52 grams but still manages a mid/low spin right rate and a mid launch angle.
The HD in HD4 refers to the hexdecagonal internal platform on which the shafts are constructed. With a much strong 16-cut butt section, the Matrix Golf HD6 has a stronger tip and structure without increasing weight.
The lightest of the HD shafts, the HD4 is best suited for golfers that typically prefer a lighter shaft. This shaft is highly recommended for senior golfers, but is also suitable for those golfers simply looking for a faster shaft.
